                Shri Rajan Nair belongs to a reputed business family in Kollam. He is the son of Poyilakkada Shri P . Gangadharan Pillai who was reputed for business ethics and philanthropic activities. Shri Rajan Nair has been the Managing Partner of Kerala Nut Food Co. Who are one of the leading exporters of cashew. He had diversified into sea food exports in 1973 by starting Poyilakkada Fisheries Pvt Limited and has been its Managing Director since then. Shri Rajan Nair has been a Managing Committee member of Sea Food Exporters Association of India for over 20 years. He had travelled to various countries on Government delegation for promotion of sea food exports He was Founder of Quilon Management Association and director of Kerala Permanent Benefit Fund Limited.
