                A superstar of Malayalam Films, Shri Suresh Gopi won National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in KALIYATTAM. He started his career as a child artist and went on to become super star with about 200 films to his credit.

                He become immensely popular with masses with his role of courageous and Law Enforcing Police Officers. His acting prowess was visible in several movies where he played roles of characters of substance. Awards won by him besides National Award includes best actor in Kerala State Film Award (3 times) and best supporting actor (4 times)
